This tour invites riders to traverse the entire island of Sri Lanka on two wheels, immersing in coastal vistas, jungle terrains, and cultural destinations. From the moment you arrive you are drawn into the island’s manifold appeal: you begin in the coastal town of Negombo to acclimatize, then ride north to the surfing and lagoon haven of Kalpitiya, proceed west into the wildlife-rich Wilpattu National Park and Mannar Island, then up to the northern tip of Jaffna with its strong Hindu heritage and colonial forts.
From there the route winds down the east coast across Kyts and Trincomalee – where you can snorkel vibrant coral reefs and perhaps spot whales. Next you head south to the laid-back surf town of Arugam Bay, then into the famed safari terrain of Yala National Park, before relaxing in the beach haven of Mirissa and winding your way back into the bustle of the capital Colombo.
